A coffee-powered car, record-breaking swimmers, and the world's largest coat - Stockport's Guinness World Record entries

Today marks 70 years since the first edition of the Guinness book of World Records was published.
Since then, it's documented the world's biggest, fastest, best, and everything in between.
And a fair few entries have come from Stockport.
Perhaps the most unusual record Stockport holds is for the world's largest coat. It was created in 2011 by youngsters and parishioners at St George's Church and primary school, and was made up of a whopping 8,832 knitted squares.
It measured 13 by 5.5 metres, and was hung in St George's Church before being dismantled to make blankets to send to Africa.
Similarly unusual is the world's fastest coffee-powered car, which reached an amazing 65.536 mph during a run at Woodford Airfield.
Built by Martin Bacon, the 'Bean Machine' was a converted Ford P100 powered with coffee chaff pellets.
Another bizarre record held by the town is the most expensive tooth sold at auction; Dr Michael Zuk bought the tooth - which was believed to belong to John Lennon - at Stockport's Omega Auction House for £23,010 in 2011.
In terms of sporting records, talented swimmers at Stockport Metro broke the record for 100 lots of 50m relays in 43 minutes and 32 seconds, beating the pre-existing record by over three minutes.
And recently, in 2020, the Seashell Trust teamed up with master chocolatier, Oliver Dunn, to break the record for the 'most users in a lollipop-making video hangout'.
