Labour's victory margin narrows as Reform gains momentum - national readers' poll
Labour's seemingly impending march to election victory this week may not be as comprehensive as many are predicting, a national poll of Nub News readers has indicated.
With our previous national poll a fortnight ago predicting a landslide victory was not guaranteed for Sir Keir Starmer, results published this morning (July 1) continue to pour water on the flames of those expecting one of the most devastating election victories in recent years.
What does the National Nub News Readers' Poll Suggest?
While our independent poll of newsletter subscribers have Labour as clear favourites at 32 per cent, that still falls short of many other polls in which the party exceed two fifths of the vote share.
However, as many other commentators are predicting, the national results showed Reform rising, coming in third place with 20 per cent of the vote. This was up from 19 per cent.
They sit just behind the Conservatives (21 per cent) and ahead of the Liberal Democrats at 17 per cent.
The Conservatives have also seen their vote show grow slightly from 19 per cent since our last national poll.
Meanwhile, the Liberal Democrats have seen their share of the votes drop from close to 19 per cent to 16.6 per cent.
Nub News polled over 2,000 newsletter subscribers between 12:35pm on Wednesday June 26 and midnight on Friday 28 June. Readers were only able to register a single vote for one of a number of parties. Results were not weighted demographically.
