County are off to Wembley!
The Hatters have comfortably secured a spot in the League One play-off finals following a win over Stevenage last night (Wednesday 13 May) at Edgeley Park.
Stockport went into the game with a 1-0 lead following a win in Stevenage for the first leg - goals from Louie Barry and Kyle Wootton at home made it 3-0 on aggregate.
And a stellar performance from goalkeeper Corey Addai ensured County kept a clean sheet.
The final whistle saw huge celebrations, with County fans surging onto the grass in a pitch invasion.
The Hatters will be facing either Bradford or Bolton, depending on who wins today's semi-final play off. As it stands Bolton are winning 1-0 on aggregate.
In a post-match message addressing the fans, goal-scorer and man of the match Kyle Wootton said: "Thanks for your support as always.
"Massive, massive result tonight and a great performance from the boys.
"As always, you've been supporting like mad - whether we're at home or away.
"Let's do it one more time - get the job done. Hopefully see you all at Wembley."
In his post-match interview, manager Dave Challinor promised that the squad were going to Wembley to win.
"We've got ourselves to a final, which is brilliant.
"To get through and progress in the manner that we did is brilliant, and we look forward to another Wembley trip."
The play-off final takes place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 24 May, with kick-off at 1pm.
The winner takes a spot in the Championship, the second tier of the English football league.
