‘Not acceptable’ - Challinor unambiguous after away defeat at Mansfield

County have dropped a further three points following a 3-2 away defeat to Mansfield.
The game kicked off at Field Mill with a promising first half; after five minutes, the Hatters took the lead as Louie Barry tucked away a neat strike, assisted by Will Collar.
It was only nine minutes later, however, that Mansfield equalised, as George Maris found the end of a cross and converted from the penalty box.
County responded equally quickly, as Fraser Horsfall landed a magnificent header to make it 2-1.
In the second half things began to take a turn for the worse. Hinchliffe kept County in the game for a while longer, making three or four blinding saves.
Ultimately, however, County 'switched off' during a corner and Davis Keilor-Dunn evaded defenders, rolling a low shot into the corner of the County net.
The bad luck continued, when, after a header which Dave Challinor later described as 'horrific', Fraser Horsfall lost possession, opening the way for a swift Mansfield counter attack.
Keilor-Dunn secured a brace with a neat strike in the 78th minute.
Dave Challinor was clearly dissatisfied with the performance in his post-match interview.
"We've switched off - not done our jobs", he said. "Not acceptable, by any way, stretch or form.
"We don't get to the ball quickly enough. [...]
"Until we get things right, there won't be another day off.
"We're too nice. Nice becomes okay when you're getting results. It doesn't when you're not winning football matches and you're conceding the goals we're conceding. That will stop.
"Fundamentally, this is about results. It's easy to say performances are this, that or the other. There are worse bits that need pointing out, because ultimately that's cost us the game."
