Stockport County supporters who travelled to Selhurst Park for the FA Cup match against Crystal Palace were praised by the home fans for showing 'incredible' support.

Although County sadly bowed out of the cup following a 1-0 defeat to Palace, their presence and support was hailed widely by the home fanbase.

Sharing their thoughts on Twitter, one fan described the County fans as 'a credit to their club'.

Another user said "the Stockport fans were incredible", and another praised their 'absolutely unreal support'.

Miss LA, DJ for Crystal Palace, said "Those Stockport fans are 10/10".

There's a theme here, isn't there? One more user said: "Just want to say how great the Stockport fans were this afternoon. Didn't shut up, great songs, loud and very proud.

"I enjoyed listening to them today. Those fans deserve success and I honestly hope they get some."

Whilst Stockport were unable to score after conceding an early Eze goal, both the team and the fans can be proud of the performance. The Hatters brought 3,402 fans on the trip down to London.
