A woman has been charged with murder following the death of a 93-year-old woman in Gatley.

Police were called to an address on Altrincham Road on Wednesday 16 April, where 93-year-old Judy Zussman was found deceased.

Since then, 39-year-old Amelia Ali, of no fixed address, was charged with murder. She appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 10 July).

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police has said that officers are continuing to support Judy's family.
