Woman, 57, found dead after Reddish house fire

The body of a 57-year-old woman has been found in a Reddish property which was destroyed by fire.

The fire engulfed a home on Bradfield Close in the early hours of Tuesday 4 March. Eight fire engines were called to the scene, with emergency crews in place throughout the day.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said in a statement to Manchester Evening News that there were aren't believed to be any suspicious circumstances around the incident.

Eight engines were called to the scene, and emergency services have remained in place since the fire broke out.

The woman has not been identified, but her next of kin have been informed.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service is working with the police to establish the cause of the fire.
