"February... the month of love and passion. That's why Murder Inc is setting its monthly murder mystery in a rom-com! Come along for the meet-cutes, misunderstandings, airport chases, and white shirts in rainstorms...oh, and a murder.

"As always, you provide the suggestions, Murder Inc. will bring the carnage!"

One lucky detective team will even walk away with a prize.

Stockport Sounds Presents | Romiley Forum Theatre | Fri 21 February | 7.30pm

Enjoy the best of Stockport's up-and-coming bands and artists at this 'Stockport Sounds' show at Romiley Forum.

This event takes place on Friday 21 February from 7.30pm.

A description for this event reads: "Join us for the very first "Stockport Sounds Presents". This is a platform for bands in and around the Stockport area to showcase their musical talents in a standing gig setting.

"Performing on the evening will be:

  • "Kathy's Band" - 4 piece Manchester based party band with a Penchant for Classic Rock. Guaranteed to raise the roof.
  • "Grand Volume" - 3 piece, blues rock outfit putting their own slant on varying genres including soul, funk, reggae, rock and blues.

"Tickets purchased for either band allows entry for the whole evening, but your ticket money will be allocated to the band you choose."

Pottery throwing class | Ceramics & Chill (Bramhall) | Sat 22 February

Try your hand at pottery throwing in this beginner-friendly workshop at Bramhall's Ceramics and Chill.

The event takes place from 3-4pm on Saturday 22 February,

A description for this event reads: "Ever fancied trying out the potter's wheel? 

"Our taster hour is suitable for absolute beginners. You will throw a little bowl of your very own, which then gets fired in the kiln and then you can come back and glaze it in store (any time we are open - just book in).

"After that it gets fired a second time and then you can take it home!"

Futureshock Wrestling | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Sun 23 February | 5.30-8.30pm

Futureshock Wrestling returns to Stockport Masonic Guildhall on Sunday 23 February.

A description reads: "Live action-packed pro wrestling for fans of all ages. If you've got WWE fans in your family, they'll love this."

The event runs from 5.30-8.30pm.
