Dear Evan Hansen | Stockport Plaza | until Sat 6 June

A description for this event reads: "Dear Evan Hansen is a musical about Evan, a socially anxious teenager who gets caught in a lie after a classmate, Connor, dies by suicide.
"A letter Evan wrote to himself is mistaken for Connor's suicide note, leading everyone to believe they were close friends.
"As Evan gets drawn deeper into the falsehood, he gains the acceptance and connection he longed for, but eventually must face the truth and its consequences."

Stockport Jewish heritage trail | online launch | Thu 4 June | 7.30pm

Stockport Jewish Heritage Trail is a new free digital trail exploring the fascinating history of the town centre's Jewish communities.
The trail uses memories, historic photographs and maps to tell the story of shops, market traders, synagogues, homes, activists, war memorials, refugees and more from the 1800s onwards.
This online launch will highlight several key buildings and sites on the digital trail, while also explaining how to use it. It will be led by Kevin Bolton, a Stockport resident and archivist who created the trail. To book visit https://jewishculturemonth.org.uk/events/stockport-jewish-heritage-trail-online-launch.
