We are currently recruiting new and experienced women singers to our 70+ award winning acapella four part harmony chorus.

Martin Kemp: Back to the '80s DJ Set | Stockport Plaza | Thu 10 September | 7.45pm

The hottest 80s party is coming back to Stockport – when actor, TV personality and star of Spandau Ballet Martin Kemp will be spinning the biggest and best hits of that decade!

Known for selling out venues across the UK, Martin Kemp will perform a special DJ set and has described the shows as a euphoric experience where partygoers "lose themselves, singing to every word.

Joining him for this epic night are special guests Nathan Moore of Brother Beyond and The Hassle Funk Band. So, grab your dancing shoes, dust off that 80s gear, and prepare for a pure 'Gold' night!

Fancy dress is encouraged. Early booking is essential!

Bramhall Wellness Day | Bramhall Village Square | Sat 12 September | 10am-3pm

Explore how to keep your family happy and well, try out yoga, barre or group PT for free, experience wellness treatments, health products, discover self care books and mindful board gaming, enjoy food for the soul and the belly and be guided by local professionals in wellness when you visit local shops and businesses.

The day will include free exercise sessions inside FORME in the Village Square. Simply Books on Moss Lane will set up a bibliotherapy book stall inside the shop and local nutrition experts Amaranth will offer wellness and health advice, as well as free tastings and massage.

Outside the Box will introduce mindful board games and will run a (just for fun, no gambling) Poker evening event too. Greetings in the Village Square will be offering kids' card making and Calm Body Chiropractic will offer free spinal screenings.

For mums, CORE Foundations will run taster sessions of their Stroller Striders classes and Ben from G4 Guitar School will be on hand to encourage kids and adults to learn the guitar. Capture & Calm Walks will be on hand to chat about their mindful walking groups and are selling mindful gifts and art.

Worker Bee Markets will also set up on the day from 10am-3pm, with hand-picked makers of crafts, homeware, gifts and foodie treats.

Dancing Druids Contemporary Border Morris Workshop | Christ Church Hall, West Didsbury | Sat 12 September | 11am-1pm

Get ready to shake up your dance moves with the Dancing Druids! Join us for an in-person Border Morris workshop where tradition meets a fresh, contemporary twist.

Perfect for all skill levels, come and learn lively steps, rhythmic stick work, and the joyful spirit of Border Morris. Bring your energy and a sense of fun – let's make some noise and dance like never before! 11am to 1pm.
