The Upbeat Beatles (Beatles tribute) | Stockport Plaza | Fri 18 October | 7.30pm

Catch this top Beatles tribute at Stockport Plaza this Friday.

A description for this event reads: "Paying homage to the greatest band in history, 'The Upbeat Beatles' take you through the whole of the Beatles' career.

"With authentic instruments, costume changes, multimedia, and featuring an ensemble cast of professional musicians with West End experience, this is a two-hour spectacular show not to be missed, for Beatles fans new and old!"

The Haunting of Hill House | Chads Theatre | Sat 19 - Sat 26 October | 2.30pm (matinee)

This amateur production of The Haunting of Hill House starts its run at Chads Theatre from 19 October, with its first matinee performance at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £12 - this price includes parking and a programme.

Outside the Box Comedy Night | Garrick Theatre | Sat 19 October | 7pm (doors)

Outside the Box comedy night returns to the Garrick Theatre on Saturday 19 October. Doors open at 7pm, with the first act due to start at 7.45pm.

This iteration features Peter Brush, Sang Don Park, Rob Rouse, and MC Big Lou.

Poynton Halloween Market | Poynton Sports Club | Sun 20 October | 11am-4pm

Poynton Halloween market heads to Poynton Sports Club from 11am-4pm on Sunday 20 October.

Here's what the organisers had to say: "Cozy season is here! Expect winter warmers, Autumnal treats and not too many tricks. We have well and truly pulled out all the stops for you this month as we see a whopping line up of over 80 artisan stalls.

"Plus, there's live music, a trick or treat trail around the grounds with free sweets! There's even a free children's craft area by Create It, as well as a Sand Art Workshop!"

Witch's Potion Halloween Trail | Bramall Hall | Sun 20 October - Sun 3 November

Bramall Hall is hosting a spooky potion trail during its opening hour. Suitable for ages three and up.

A description for this event reads: "This is a spooktacular spotting trail within the Hall. Batilda the resident witch fell from her broom, scattering ingredients in every room!

"Find them all, get them right, to make a potion for Halloween night! There is a small prize if you find all the ingredients and you might even get to meet Batilda, our slightly scary witch!"
