Witch's Potion Trail | Bramall Hall | 26-29 October

This is a spooktacular spotting trail within the Hall. Batilda the resident witch fell from her broom, scattering ingredients in every room! Find them all, get them right, to make a potion for Halloween night! There is a small prize if you find all the ingredients and you might even get to meet Batilda, our slightly scary witch!
Foodie Friday - Halloween edition | Market Place | Fri 27 October | 6pm

Prepare for a spooky special at this month's Foodie Friday.
Market Place in Stockport town centre will host a myriad of street food traders in this much-loved event in the Stockport calendar.
Proceedings will run from 6-9pm on Friday 27 October.
A description for this event reads: "Foodie Friday is a truly unique social event for Stockport town centre, creating a continental-style, street cafe culture which appeals to all ages, and gives families a relaxed and enjoyable night out with their children."
If the prospect of all those traders peddling delicious cuisine from around the world isn't enough, then there will also be live music!
Halloween at the Merseyway | Sat 28 October | 12pm

From 12-3pm, Beetlejuice-themed characters will head into the town centre. Stopfordians young and old are invited to join 'in their best Halloween attire', for a day of tricks and treats, free to attend.
A statement from Merseyway outlines some of the things families can expect:
- A ghostly graveyard in the undercover mall, with a Beetlejuice-themed trail map and follow clues around the centre to win *trick or treat prizes
- Scary craft sessions in the centre where children can make a Halloween night light ready to take home, while Beetlejuice characters will also be on hand for 'scare-tacular photo opportunities'
- Beetlejuice's very own joke shop on Adlington Walk
What's more, Redrock will host a safe trick-or-treating session from 5-7pm. Families will be asked to stay in their Halloween costumes and come down to the popular entertainment complex for an evening of celebrations, including walkabout acts, live music, and spooky family-friendly games.
Redrock restaurants and bars will also be getting involved with the Halloween fun, with Pizza Express offering free Halloween doughballs to all visitors who download the Pizza Express app.
Centre Manager, Victoria Nichol said "Our annual Trick or Treat celebrations have become a staple event for Stockport town centre and we're so excited for its return in 2023. This year's celebrations will be Beetlejuice-themed and we can't wait to see all the parents and children in their Halloween costumes ready to celebrate the Halloween weekend.
"We'd like to encourage everyone to come along to this free one-day event, where we can guarantee lots of singing, dancing and Halloween fun for the family."
