Broadcaster and presenter Vernon Kay will pass through Stockport today as part of his 'ultra ultramarathon', raising money for Children in Need.

Now on the third leg of his epic run, Vernon will pass through the Peak District and onto Marple and Stockport today. From Stockport he will run to Old Trafford, where he will finish up for the day.

On Friday, Vernon will run from Old Trafford to Bolton, his hometown. Having started in Leicester, the total length of the four-day journey is 115 miles.

He has already raised £1.39 million for Children in Need. Many spectators have been lining the streets along the way - if you'd like to support Vernon yourself then you can get an idea of his location using the live tracker. His time of arrival in Stockport is unclear.
