Trains disrupted around Stockport due to ‘trespassers’ on the tracks

~ UPDATE ~ Trains are now operating again as of 10.52pm. Passengers should expect some delays.
Trains around Stockport railway station are delayed this evening (Saturday 1 February) due to trespassers on the tracks.
Police are supervising around Heaton Chapel and Stockport railway station.
Rail operator Northern said in a statement: "Due to trespassers on the railway at Stockport trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.
"Train services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 22:15 01/02".
