Train delays and cancellations between Stockport station and Crewe

Passengers travelling between Crewe and Stockport are experiencing delays and cancellations this morning (Tuesday 27 January).
It's due to a fallen tree which has blocked the line between Wilsmlow and Crewe. There has also been a failure of the electricity supply.
As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, diverted or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
