Police are appealing for information after a laptop was stolen from an office in Stockport town centre.

It is alleged that on 18 September around 12.15-12.52pm, a male entered an office on Railway Road, Stockport Exchange, asking if he could wait in the building for his father.

The receptionist agreed and let him through the turnstiles.

The unknown male then went up to the third floor, took a work laptop from one of the offices, then made off through a fire exit door in an unknown direction.
