Another year, another iteration of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Winter Warmer Wander Trail!

This trail runs from Friday 15 to Sunday 29 December, and invites participants to try some festive beers in a number of top locations across Greater Manchester.

There are 65 participating pubs across Greater Manchester, almost half of which are in Stockport.

On the one hand, participants can simply use the trail as an excuse to share a winter beer with some pals. Favourites such as Robinsons' Old Tom and JW Lees' Plum Pudding beer are on offer.

However, there are also prizes on offer if you fancy trying out a few different locations.

Find out more information on how to take part in the trail (and potentially win prizes) here.

To start winning prizes, participants must visit 12 different pubs in various areas, drink at least a half a pint of a cask-conditioned winter beer in each, and collect a sticker.

If you do, you'll win three bottles of beer, including one Old Tom.

Those who collect 24, 36 or 65 different stickers will be able to claim clothing featuring the exclusive Winter Warmer Wander Logo, as well as bottles of beer, and entry into a draw for a case of 12 bottles.

Below are the participating pubs in Stockport borough.

Organiser Sue Lightfoot said: "Winter Warmer Wander provides a bit of fun in the run-up to Christmas, and gives you the chance to visit familiar haunts and experience new watering-holes, as well as win prizes.

"The number of excellent winter ales to be found in Stockport's pubs is astonishing, and I'm sure you will find something to tickle the taste buds. Our pubs have had a rough few years, so please go along and support them, and celebrate with wonderful warming seasonal beers from the best independent breweries."
