Saturday 31 August is National Cinema Day, and a cinema in Stockport is celebrating with a special offer.

The Light, based at Redrock in Stockport town centre, is offering cinema tickets for just £4. That's a discount of around 66% compared to usual prices.

The offer applies to all screenings throughout the day, as well as some select showings on Sunday 1 September.

And there's an impressive range of films to choose from - here's what The Light had to say:

"If you're after big screen blockbusters we've got you covered with Deadpool & Wolverine, Twisters and It Ends With Us.

"For those who like darker thrills we've got Alien: Romulus, Blink Twice, and The Crow.

"For families, we've got the biggest animations of the year with Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4 among other great titles.

"Plus if your feeling nostalgic check out our anniversary screenings of The Terminator, Pulp Fiction and Coraline."
