Police appeal for information following assault on 15-year-old in Reddish
Police are appealing for information after an assault in North Reddish Park yesterday (Monday 12 February).
Police were attended the scene around 5pm. The victim - a 15-year-old male - was hit by what is believed to be a hammer. He did not sustain serious injuries.
GMP said: "Initial enquiries suggest that the victim was walking through the park when he was approached by four unknown males in face coverings when he was hit by what is believed to be a hammer."

Affordable housing scheme in Hazel Grove ‘back under construction’ after delay
A plan to build more than 80 new homes in Hazel Grove has restarted after a long delay.
The council gave the green light for a new housing development on land off Melford Road in 2019 but the scheme stopped abruptly when a company working on the project went bust in February 2022.
Stockport Homes has now managed to get the project back up and running.
