A new mural adorning Stockport's Garrick Theatre has now been completed.

The artwork, by Captain Kris, covers the side of the building which faces the A6, and features a rich pastiche of different scenes.

There's also another mural on the opposite side of the Garrick, facing Exchange Street.

Captain Kris is a distinguished street artist hailing from New Zealand - he worked alongside The Garrick and Totally Stockport to bring this new piece of Stockport artistry to life.

'The Captain' said braving the local weather was a challenge, but he still managed to finish the piece in five days.

Speaking of the process, Totally Stockport said on social media: "We spotted this building needed a bit of a spruce up and was in such a prominent location - this led to this incredible piece of art becoming a reality."
