The Rhode Island Coffee establishment in Stockport town centre has re-opened following a major refurbishment.

The store in Little Underbank - described by Rhode Island as a 'flagship' branch - has had an internal and external overhaul, in keeping with the historic character of the Underbanks.

Raj Ruia, Owner and founder of Rhode Island Coffee, said: "We were one of the first independent coffee shops to come to Stockport town and we have been trading since 2008.

"The warm reception from our customers and the enthusiastic support of the community have been instrumental in our achievement. This success is a testament to the dedication of our team and the shared vision we have cultivated.

"We remain committed to providing an unparalleled experience for our customers, crafted with passion and a commitment to excellence."

The store is located at 2 Little Underbank, Stockport, SK1 1JT. It is open from 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am-4.30pm on Sundays.

With similar branches across the North West, Rhode Island says its aim is for each store "to be a hub of enjoyment and relaxation, going the extra mile to give each and every customer an experience they will come back for."
