Stockport to host its first ever Vegan festival this weekend
Stockport will be hosting its first ever Vegan festival next year.
The festival will take place on Sunday 9 February 2025, at Stockport's Masonic Guildhall. According to the organisers, the aim is to 'promote veganism' and offer a one-stop-shop where local vegans can shop and talk.
The festival will feature live speakers, as well as classes and workshops (on subjects such as cooking on a budget).
There will also be 60 traders, selling food, drink, clothes, crafts, jewellery, candles, and more.
Entry is from £5 - and it's free for under 16s.
Festival organiser Victoria Bryceson said: "I’m really excited about our first Stockport Vegan Festival. I’m expecting it to be a sell-out. I’m sure that people in Stockport and the surrounding area will enjoy the stalls, talks, workshops and atmosphere.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone, not just vegans, to the festival. Our goal is to continue to bring vegans and non-vegans together, to support local vegan business, and to show just how easy it is to be vegan.”
