A man from Marple has won £20,000 in tax-free cash.

Chuffed-to-bits Marc Benson bought a few tickets valued at £4.99 each to be entered into a draw held by Buxton-based online raffle company Easy Winning Limited.

A keen rugby player, who was recently lucky enough to have got engaged, could not believe his luck when he won the five-figure jackpot.

In total, he bought £74.85 worth of tickets. This means he's made 267.2 times more than he paid to enter the big prize draw.

The business started during the pandemic, and has now become a full-time job for Charles. Giving out prizes across Stockport, Macclesfield and the High Peak. (Image - Alexander Greensmith / Stockport Nub News)
