Stockport Homes, which manages over 12,000 properties on behalf of Stockport Council and private landlords, has published its 'performance stats'.

In these statistics, the housing organisation compares itself with others across the country as a watermark on performance.

As Stockport Homes explains: "To ensure that we are always providing the best service possible to our customers we need to compare ourselves to our previous performances and other Housing organizations. By doing this we can make sure that we are always staying at the top when it comes to customer service."

Stockport Homes measured itself on the following stats:

  • Satisfaction with repairs: Here Stockport Homes came well above even the highest national averages, with a score of 99.16%. The average nationally was 86.5%.
  • Percentage of properties with a satisfactory electrical installation certificate: Here Stockport Homes ranked slightly below the national average of 99.8%, scoring 98.76%.
  • Average time taken to re-let empty dwellings: Here Stockport Homes recorded 44.21 days, over four times the national housing medium of 10.5 days.
