Stockport County unveils new third kit celebrating the club's early history

Stockport County have unveiled their third kit for the 2025/26 season, celebrating the club's early history.
This striking dark green strip pays tribute the club's foundational years at Green Lane in Heaton Norris.
It also features a historic crest, with the badge of Heaton Norris Rovers replacing the usual County badge.
Members of the men's and women's teams, along with members of the community, came together for a photoshoot at the Green Lane site to showcase the new kit.
Further still, continuing the theme of community football, £2 from every sale of a 2025/26 third shirt will be donated to the community via the club's Grassroots Football Fund.

Simon Wilson, Stockport County CEO, said: "As a club, we're fully committed to the development and sustainability of junior football across the region, hence the formation of our Grassroots Football Fund.
"Playing sport and staying active is incredibly beneficial for young people in Stockport, yet the cost of kits, equipment and pitch hire can be a significant barrier for local teams. We're keen to alleviate this.
"We're delighted, therefore, that £2 from every sale of our new green third shirt will be put back into the community through our Grassroots Football Fund.
"To me, this campaign epitomises the whole spirit and ethos of Stockport County Football Club: celebrating our history while championing our future."
