Stockport County will celebrate its birthday on 29 July with a fun-day at Edgeley Park.
Also on the day, the Hatters will wrap up their pre-season campaign with a friendly match against Preston North End.
A description on County's website reads: "It's set to be a party atmosphere in SK3 with plenty on offer for our young supporters, including a bouncy castle, fun fair stalls, candy floss and popcorn – not to mention the chance to watch your heroes in action as we wrap up our pre-season campaign."
Food will also be on offer, including mouth-watering loaded nachos and bratwurst available from street food stalls.
The celebrations will mark the 140-year anniversary of the club.
Beginning as Heaton Norris Rovers in 1883, the club changed its name to Stockport County in 1890.
The Hatters joined the Football League in 1900. After a season outside the league in 1905-06, the club remained in the competition continuously for 106 years, until the 2010-11 season, when County were relegated to what was then the Conference League.
After relegation again the following season, County stabilised and secured a string of promotions. After narrowly missing out on promotion to League One recently against Carlisle, County remains in League Two.
The Hatters have been playing at Edgeley Park since 1902 - before then, as Heaton Norris Rovers, the club played at Green Lane and used the nearby Nursery Inn as a home (and used the adjacent barn as a changing room).
In over 100 years of history, County have claimed a host of championship titles, stints in the top flight (and periods above Manchester City), and more.
After a golden age in the 90s, County may be approaching another legendary era, with manager Dave Challinor currently ranked best in the club's history in terms of win percentage (58.7%).
During the game on 29 July, the team will be wearing a special, limited edition kit that pays tribute to the club's formation as Heaton Norris Rovers in 1883.
In further celebration of this storied past, there will be a shirt exhibition available for people to view in The 1883, which will feature County shirts from across the eras (County have not always been blue and white!).
