A Stockport rehabilitation unit is the centre of a new BBC documentary presented by Stacey Dooley.
The journalist and presenter visited the unit over a period of five months as part of an investigation into ketamine users and their road to recovery.
The programme, called 'Down the K Hole' airs on BBC Three at 9pm on Tuesday 20 October. It's also available on BBC iPlayer now.
Dooley described it as among the 'most challenging and important films' she's worked on in the UK.
In it, she follows several of the Stockport unit's clients as they learn to reconnect with life, without drugs.
Ketamine is among the most widely-used recreational drugs amongst under 24s in the UK, leaving some people with chronic pain, bladder damage, and other long-term health complications.
Dooley hears some of the recovering addicts' emotional journeys, learning what it takes to break free from the grip of ketamine.
"The access we have been afforded to meet those affected, to hear their stories and try to understand the broader picture feels like an enormous responsibility and one that isn't lost on me", Dooley said.
"I would like to thank everyone who has agreed to contribute. And I hope [the film] encourages thoughtful conversations."
