A neighbourhood restaurant in Heaton Moor has said it is 'delighted' after receiving a top culinary award.
Casa De Casa, based at 60 Heaton Moor Road, has received a gold seal Good Food Award, a national accolade designed to "shine a spotlight on the unsung culinary heroes of the United Kingdom".
Casa de Casa described winning as 'a proud moment for everyone'.
"To our team: thank you for the care and hard work you put into every service", the restaurant said. "This recognition belongs to you.
"And to our guests: thank you for every visit, kind review and recommendation to a friend. You've made us part of your everyday catch-ups and special occasions.
"We look forward to welcoming you back."
The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean flavours, inspired particularly by Turkish cooking.
Their menu boasts delicious tapas, grilled mains, paellas, and more - and there's also a fantastic breakfast menu with mouth-watering favourites like the full English.
The gold seal is described by the Good Food Awards as 'revered': "It is a true mark of distinction", a spokesperson said.
It is given to eateries which have achieved consecutive Good Food Award success over the last three years, in what the award organisers describe as "a testament to their continued recognition by the customers they serve".
Awards are decided through a few different factors - they take into account customer feedback and online reviews, as well as official data such as food hygiene ratings.
