Art Social | Arc Centre | Fri 27 June | 1.30-3.30pm

Looking to make art, but in somewhere sociable? Art Social is the perfect place.
A description for this event reads: "Do you enjoy being creative but don’t want to be on your own? Bring your art project or sketchbook to the Hat Works café and join other like-minded people and Arc volunteers.
"Come along on a Friday afternoon, where one of our volunteers will host a creative table space for you to bring along whatever (not too messy) projects you're working on.
"Refreshments will be available to purchase from the café.
"Please note, this is a free event run by our wonderful volunteers. If you are able to, please consider making a donation so we can continue running these events."
Armed forces day | Stockport town centre | Sat 28 June | from 10.45am

Stockport's annual armed forces day returns this Summer, in celebration of brave service members across the borough, past and present.
This year's event takes place on Saturday 28 June.
The day will begin with the traditional parade, which will start at 10.45am from St Peter's Square and will finish in Market Place.
As well as this, there will be activities, displays and more across the town centre, for visitors of all ages.
Throughout the Underbanks, the Merseyway Centre, Stockroom and Prince's Street, there will be exhibitors, demonstrators, live music and more.
Expect to see military vehicles and other replicas on display, as well as craft activities for young visitors such as den-building and paper aeroplane races.

Worker Bee Market | Broadstone Mill, Reddish | Sat 28 June | 11am-3pm

Up to 60 talented makers and traders have been hand-picked for this iteration of Worker Bee Markets in Reddish.
Expect the usual range of top traders, purveying everything from handmade arts and crafts through to delicious food.
Come for lunch. Choose from Japanese and Turkish. Plus a freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate.
Lots of free parking and you can pop into the Shopping Outlet too whilst you're there.
It runs on Saturday 28 June from 11am to 3pm.
