Underbanks Christmas lights switch-on | Lower Hillgate | Sat 23 November | 6pm
The festive season is upon us, and that means a picturesque lights switch-on in the Underbanks.
This year's lights switch-on takes place on Saturday 23 November from 6pm, along Lower Hillgate.
A silver band will also be present, adding ever more glamour and beauty to the scene.
Further still, shops and businesses along the Underbanks will be open until late, so it's a good opportunity for some late-night shopping.
Last year's Christmas lights switch-on drew a huge number of visitors, with a packed-out Underbanks and a tree outside Rare Mags.
Warm orange light, misting breath, mulled wine and mince pies, and the soft tones of a silver band - this is a memory in the making.
