International Market (Worker Bee) | Bramhall Village Square | Sat 14 September | 11am-3pm

(Image supplied)

Following the success of the May event, this popular market and foodie paradise returns to the centre of Bramhall with an array of International cuisine including Jamaican, Indian, Japanese, Turkish and British. Authentic patties, samosas, curry buns, gozleme and pies are all on the menu alongside sour dough and focaccia breads, gluten free sweet and savoury, cheese, scones, chilli jam, brownies, traditional puddings and much much more.

Meet friendly makers of Rochdale beer and Heald Green gin and pick up gifts, crafts, toys, clothing, jewellery, art, ceramics… we could go on! There are nearly 50 stalls, most from around Stockport, nearly a third from within three miles of Bramhall.

Get yourselves down to Bramhall village on Saturday 14 September, 10am-3pm, where there's plenty of free parking and you can also see the prize-giving for the Bramhall & Woodford Rotary Scarecrow Competition while the kids play in the newly refurbished play area and get their faces painted by the Artful Dodger.

Needle felting workshop | Onze Atelier | Sat 14 Sep | 11am-1pm

A description for this event reads: "Join us at the delightful Onze Atelier in Cheadle, Stockport, for this 2 hour workshop needle felting a beautiful 2D landscape image onto pre-felt fabric then turning it into a beautiful card, brooch or framed piece.

"A flower meadow, a beach, a field of spring lambs, a view of a local landmark - what will you make?!

"Needle felting involves using specialised barbed needles to interlock wool fibres and sculpt them into beautiful designs. It's a meticulous and therapeutic process that requires both skill and imagination.

"Vicky from Needlessly Felted, who is affiliated with the International Feltmakers Association, will take you through the whole process of creating a beautiful needle felted brooch or gift card. Vicky will also dedicate a bit of time to exploring the range of materials available and their properties with examples to touch and explore. Feel free to bring an image to work from if you prefer. No experience necessary.

"All equipment, a huge variety of luxury colourful wool, hot drinks and delicious sweet treats are included.

"Limited spaces so book now!"
