Flecky Bennett's Air Raid Shelter ghost tour | Stockport Air Raid Shelters | Thursday 23 October

Ghost walking extraordinaire Flecky Bennett will be hosting one of his award-winning tours this month, perfect for getting into a suitably spooky mood.
This time, it's a tour of the Stockport Air Raid Shelters, taking place on 23 October.
Flecky's tours have been described as 'Horrible Histories for adults'.
His stories are based upon well-documented accounts, witness statements and his own personal experiences.
In his own words, it means these chilling tales can "take on a new life (and death) of their own".
Find more information about the evening here.
Worker Bee Halloween Market | Broadstone Shopping Outlet (Reddish) | Saturday 25 October | 11am-3pm

Join the spooktacular goings-on at Worker Bee Markets' Hallowe'en Market on 25 October, 11am-3pm.
Pick up handmade Hallowe'en decorations, fangtastic treats and ghoulish gifts.
Enjoy the spooky spectacle of manic makers dressed up in their 'orrific outfits with their demonically decorated stalls. Bring the kids, pets or the whole family in your most gruesome gear to be in with a chance to win a prize to spend at the Festive event on 22 November.
And it's free parking and free entry!
Merseyday of the Dead | Stockport town centre | Saturday 25 October

The Merseyway centre will be hosting a special Halloween event this month, inspired by Mexico's Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead.
Expect family-friendly trick or treat trails, crafts, glitter makeovers, parades, music, and much more.
The day will be free to attend, and starts from midday on Saturday 25 October.
To begin with, young visitors will be able to collect a map outside Specsavers before setting off on the Skullstock trick-or-treat trail. They can also encounter frighteningly fun Day of the Dead characters along the way.
Children will also be able to take part in a free craft event where they can create their own accessories to take home as special keepsakes. There will also be glitter tattoos and spirit animal designs to add extra sparkle to the day.
And from 5-7pm, the day will come to a fearsome finale at Redrock - or Deadrock as it will be known for the day.
Here, visitors will find a night-time trick or treat trail, with performances from a Mexican folk dance group, an unmissable Day of the Dead parade, a Day of the Dead inspired disco, live DJs, fun games and competitions to keep everyone on their toes.
Pumpkin decorating and crafts | Together Trust Campus (Cheadle) | Saturday 25 October | 11am-1.30pm

The Together Trust is hosting an indoor craft event for children and parents alike.
Each ticket includes a pumpkin made of polystyrene (so your creations last forever!) per person to decorate, plus all the supplies you'll need to create your spooky masterpieces.
There will also be Halloween-themed colouring, mask-making, and music or films to keep little ones entertained.
Families are encouraged to come dressed up in costume to get into the spooky spirit. We do recommend bringing something to protect your clothes while painting.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase, and there will also be a raffle with some great prizes.
Halloween Together will run 11:00am - 1:30pm. An afternoon session will be added if demand for tickets is high.
