There is lots to do in Stockport over the next few days.

Beginning the weekend on Saturday morning is the Worker Bee art, food and craft market.

Also on Saturday is the Hits on the Pitch festival, running from 12 noon until 11pm.

Rounding off the weekend on Sunday is the Avro Wings and Wheels festival at the Woodford Avro Heritage museum.

Bramhall Art, Food & Craft Event | Village Square | Sat 13 July | 10am-3pm

Bramhall will host a summer market on Saturday 13 July, featuring art, gifts, and delicious street food.

The event will be organised by Worker Bee Markets, and will feature more than 40 traders pitched up around Village Square.

"You'll be able to pick up unique art, freshly-made sweet and savoury food from all around the world, homeware and garden inspiration and gifts for everyone", organiser and Worker Bee founder Clare Simpson said.

"The kids can have their faces painted and you can enjoy tasty authentic street food from Turkey and Japan."

Hits on the Pitch | Stockport Rugby Union Football Club | Sat 13 July | 12-11pm

A description for this event reads: "Cheshire's ultimate 'blast from the past' music festival is back, bigger and better than ever, featuring iconic acts from the 80s, 90s and noughties!"

Avro Wings and Wheels Festival | Woodford Avro Heritage Museum | Sun 14 July | 10am-5pm

Avro's Wings & Wheels festival returns for 2024 on Sunday 14 July.

Visitors can catch historic vehicles, classic cars, food and drink, live music, a flight simulator, and of course, flyovers from classic aircraft - including the T-28 Trojan and the Anson.

All this for the normal museum entry fee (Adults £9 / children under 11 free / children over 11 £5 / family £25).
