A Concert of Light Music - Voices in Achord | Heaton Moor United Church (Stanley Road, SK4 4HL) | Fri 11 July | 7.30pm

Heaton Moor United Church is hosting an evening of light music performed by Voices in Achord, perfect for a balmy summer evening.
A description for this event reads: "Stockport's own mixed voice, a cappella ensemble, Voices in Achord, invite you to our summer evening concert of light music with choral classics by: George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Finzi, Elgar and many more well loved popular pieces."

Worker Bee Pop Up Market | Bramhall Village Square | Sat 12 July | 10am-3pm

Meet 50 talented, friendly makers of fantastic foods, creative crafts and perfect gifts in the pedestrianised centre of Bramhall Village.
Bring the kids to play in the play area, have their faces painted and enjoy free close-up magic. Browse the stalls, visit the local independent shops and stop off for lunch or a snack in one of the quality cafes and restaurants in the Village.

Open air theatre - Wind in the Willows | Bramall Hall | Sun 13 July | 5.30pm (doors 4pm)

Experience a delightful outdoor theatre event with the award-winning Illyria, as they bring Wind in the Willows to life!
Mole yearns to explore the wide world. Badger enjoys peace and quiet. Rat likes just messing about in boats. Their idyllic lives on the Riverbank are turned upside down when Toad reveals his latest obsession: a motor-car! In Conversation with Laura Shepherd-Robinson | Serenity Booksellers (Romiley) | Sun 13 July | 6.30pm (doors 6pm)

Laura Shepherd-Robinson, bestselling author of shop favourite The Square of Sevens, is calling at Romiley for the launch The Art of a Lie - her gripping new historical thriller full of murder and deceit in 18th-Century London.
Laura will be chatting with bookshop co-owner Kelly and the talk will be followed by an audience Q&A and books signing.
Tickets are £5 for entry, or £20 for entry and a copy of the book.
