If you live in or around Stockport, you don't have to travel far to enjoy Christmas Markets this festive season.
Local business Worker Bee Markets is organising festive markets in Bramhall, Reddish, Edgeley, and Hazel Grove between now and December.
You'll be able to buy unique, handmade gifts, homemade food and decorations, all created by talented local friendly makers.
It's certainly worth a look if you're looking for unique gifts either for yourself or for someone else. After all, one can get bored of buying the same old presents each year - socks will only get you so far!
You'll find the festive markets at the following locations:
- Bramhall Festive Market - Village Square - Saturday 9 November
- Reddish Festive Market - Broadstone Mill - Saturday 23 November
- Edgeley Festive Market and Fun Day - Castle Street - Saturday 30 November
- Hazel Grove Festive Market and Fun Day - Short St Square and the United Reformed Church - Saturday 7 December
Each market has different opening times - check the Worker Bee website for more info.
Each one has a different range of hand-picked, hyper-local makers and is curated by Worker Bee's Clare Simpson, who takes the local area into account when organising the lineup of traders.
The markets also involve activities, entertainment and International street food to make each event really special.
Clare is a great advocate for shopping local. "These markets are a fantastic way to support your community, wrap up warm, go for a walk and enjoy the atmosphere of a Christmas Market", she said.
"Plus, you'll see the makers do a happy dance when you put money into their pockets, rather than the pockets of faceless corporations. It's also a great opportunity to visit the local independent shops in each of these areas!"
