Edgeley's Castle Street is set for another day of artisan market stalls this weekend, as the much-loved Worker Bee Markets returns for a special Easter event.

From 10.30am–2.30pm on Saturday 6 April, the market will showcase crafts, gifts, homeware and yummy foodie treats made by 40 makers and traders.

And in addition to the market stalls, there will also be a DJ present throughout the day, from Stockport-based Semi Tone Studios.

There's also face-painting, an Easter Egg Trail and street toys for younger visitors.

Further still, from 11.30am–1pm, Worker Bee regular Mel Whitehead will be running a free 'Learn to Crochet' workshop for adults and over 12s.

With the help of Mel's stellar creative skills, attendees will be able to learn the basic stitches, make a granny square and take home a free pack of goodies worth £10, so crocheting can carry on at home. Email [email protected] for a spot!

And for those with dogs and puppies, the market will feature a dog show run by Makants Greyhound Rescue Charity from 11am.

Visitors can enter their dogs in one of a number of categories, including best-dressed, cutest puppy, and more - Best in Show will be revealed at 1.30pm.
