Stockport is in line for a bumper weekend, with lots on over the next few days.

As always, the last Friday of the month will see the welcome return of Foodie Friday to Stockport Market Place.

The following day, a Worker Bee Market offering crafts, food, art and more will take place at Broadstone Mill in Reddish. That same evening, a few blocks away, Planet ABBA return to Reddish Working Men's Club for a top tribute to everyone's favourite Swedish pop superstars.

Sunday is an especially busy day, with Krazy Races in the town centre running from 10.45am to 5pm. Also on Sunday is the Silver School of Arms at Bramall Hall, showcasing painstakingly researched sword fighting techniques.

Stockport Gin will also be hosting a Gin and Tea day from their store on Petersgate from 2-4pm on Sunday.

It's that time of the month again!

Market Place in Stockport town centre will host a myriad of street food traders in this much-loved event in the Stockport calendar.

Proceedings will run from 6-9pm on Friday 26 July.

Come along to Reddish on the last Saturday of the month for a browse, a shop and a lunchtime stop.

50+ local makers and traders will showcase their handmade, affordable fresh produce, homeware, garden inspiration, gifts, jewellery, toys, clothing and much more.

Enjoy wood-fired pizzas made to order, authentic Turkish gozleme, Japanese curry buns alongside freshly brewed coffees and a fully stocked bar.

Planet ABBA (tribute band) | Reddish WMC | Sat 27 July | 8pm

Planet Abba return to Reddish Working Men's Club on Saturday 27 July from 8pm.

A description for this event reads: "Established for over a decade, Planet Abba is the UK's premier Abba tribute band, delivering a professionally choreographed stage show that captures the essence of the legendary Swedish group. Don't miss this electrifying performance!"
