Stockport's very own Worker Bee Markets will make a welcome return to Reddish this weekend.

On Saturday 27 April from 11am-3pm, Worker Bee Markets will head to Broadstone Mill Shopping Outlet - visitors can expect 50 talented local makers and traders, purveying everything from paintings to pancakes.

Similar Worker Bee events take place throughout the year in places in and around Stockport. The aim is to "curate and create quality markets, collaborating with hand-picked makers and traders, bespoke for our local communities".

As well as the usual range of quality traders, Saturday's market in Reddish will also feature delicious street food, freshly-brewed coffee and a local outdoor bar.

Speaking recently on the ethos behind Worker Bee Markets, founder Clare Simpson said: "For me it's about trying to give a platform to talented makers.

"Whether they make food, or whether they paint, or knit - whatever it is they do, it's about trying to give as many different people as possible a way to showcase their goods and make some money."
