Stockport Market is getting ready to host its Christmas Fayre in December - and they're looking for traders to make it extra special.

The fayre will be hosted in Market Place from Friday 4 - Saturday 5 December.

It promises to transform the market area into a 'festive wonderland', filled with gifts, crafts, tasty treats, and more.

The organisers are looking to populate the fayre with as many interesting traders as possible - and with that in mind they've opened applications for stallholders to take part.

Trader bookings are now officially open for the fayre; you can book a spot and / or find more information here.

"If you're a maker, baker, artist or independent trader looking to be part of a vibrant seasonal event, we'd love to hear from you", a spokesperson said.

Or, if you fancy a look around Market Hall in the nearer future, it's open from 9am to 4.30pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
