Retro stalls, live music, and more to come to Stockport this summer in 'Vintage Spectacular' event

Stockport will be treated to a blast from the past this summer as So Retro Events brings its 'Vintage Spectacular' to Market Hall.
The event, taking place on Sunday 12 July from 11am-4pm, will feature stalls, retro car displays, dancing, vintage bus rides, and more.
The stalls will be purveying a range of vintage items including clothes, accessories, jewellery, homeware, ceramics, artwork, vinyl records, and more, in what promises to be a 'shopping paradise' for treasure hunters.
Further still, fair-goers will also have access to a vintage styling zone where fashion expert Sophie Yesufu will be offering free colour analysis taster sessions.
You can even have your hair authentically styled by The Vintage Beauty Parlour - so if you've always fancied a victory roll or kiss curl, this is your chance!
As for the aforesaid vintage bus rides, they will be running around Stockport town centre for free!
If that's not enough, outside the Market Hall there's live music from Leeds City Stompers, a red hot blues band who love playing swing, ragtime and jazz from the 1920s-1950s.
Also on the entertainment line-up will be close-up magic performed by Michael Diamond, plus a retro bike display courtesy of the Old Skool Cranks – think classic choppers and BMXs.
It marks a return for So Retro Events, which has already hosted hugely popular events in the town centre in previous years.
Founder Michelle Barratt is delighted to be back in Stockport. "We had an amazing time at the Market Hall last year," she said.
"I loved seeing people from all generations enjoying all the vintage stalls and entertainment and the atmosphere was incredible!
"Whether you're a vintage enthusiast or just looking for a great day out, you won't want to miss this!"
Tickets are £3 in advance or £5 on the door - it's also free for under-14s.
