EatgoodWest Asian Food Night Market | St Mary's Church (Market Place) | Fri 14 November | 5-10pm

A little piece of Asia is coming to Stockport this weekend.
From 5-10pm on Friday 14 November, St Mary's Church in Market Place will be transformed into a street market with food stalls purveying cuisine from Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and more.
Organised by Eat Good West UK, the event will also feature live Asian-inspired music performances, and will give visitors the chance to have a look around the 700-year-old building itself, which will be open with tables available.
Eat Good West has quickly made a name for itself as the only regular Asian food market in Stockport.
What started as a group of young adults looking for a place to make friends and share food has quickly snowballed into a hugely popular regular market which runs on every second Friday of the month.

Since its inception, the market has provided a platform for amazing local Asian cooks and small business owners to share their skills and dishes with this little corner of the Pennines.
As organiser Chris explained: "It's a place where you can eat, chat, and just connect with people from all walks of life...
"Where young adults are using their time, energy, and love for people to make Stockport feel a little warmer - one meal at a time!"
And it's free to enter!
