A new public square featuring events space, restaurants and more will be opening underneath Stockport Viaduct in the near future.
Dubbed 'Weaver's Square', it will be part of the Weir Mill complex - the new neighbourhood which is being built to the west of the town centre.
The new spot will be a public square hosting gigs, street food pop-ups, parties and more.
It will also feature 10 new bars, restaurants and cafés which will spill onto the square to 'bring the social spaces to life'.
Further still, the square as a whole will comprise four outdoor spaces, from riverside terraces through to sequestered green oases.
Computer generated images of the new space have been revealed by the developer behind Weir Mill, Capital&Centric.

The Weir Mill complex as a whole will see the historic cotton mill overlooking the Mersey transformed into 253 homes, made up of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
The project is expected to be complete by Spring 2026.
Cllr Micheala Meikle, Stockport Council cabinet member for economy, skills and regeneration, said: "Our town centre regeneration is about more than building new homes, it's about creating vibrant neighbourhoods and breathing new life into Stockport's heritage, giving our historic buildings a future.
"While the Grade-II listed former mill is being carefully restored for residents, the new public square will create opportunities for independent businesses to thrive and for people from across the borough to come and enjoy our buzzing town centre.
"It's incredibly exciting to see how our riverside will soon be opened up into an inviting outdoor space where communities can come together over great food, live music, and creative events from day to night."

John Moffat, joint managing director at Capital&Centric, also said: "Weir Mill isn't your bog-standard development.
"Whether it's live music under the iconic viaduct arches, grabbing food with mates or stumbling across the latest pop-up, it's the kind of neighbourhood that feels buzzing, alive and full of character.
"With the first food and drink operators set to be announced soon, it's about to get really exciting."
