Six men arrested following gunshots in Brinnington

Six men have been arrested after gunshots were fired in Brinnington on Thursday (9 April).
Officers were called to the scene at 10.40am after reports of a firearm discharge at Dent Close, Lapwing Lane.
No injuries were reported.
Police have since launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for anybody with information to come forward.
As part of the investigation, five men, aged between 17 and 45 were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have since been bailed.
Police also executed three search warrants at addresses in the Stockport area in the early hours of Saturday 11 April, as a result of which a 19-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and remains in custody.
Detective Sergeant Kirsty Pierce from Stockport CID said: "We understand incidents of this nature can cause concern within the community and, whilst there are several lines of enquiry ongoing, this is believed to be an isolated incident.
"We are currently asking for anyone who has CCTV, has witnessed this incident, or has any other information, to come forward by contacting us on 101 or via our website, quoting incident number 3758 of 09.04.26. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
