A charity Bollywood night has raised nearly £4,000 for a local cancer charity.
Sidrah Yasmin, a local businesswoman and owner of Sidrah's Kitchen, held the event in Romiley to raise money for The Christie, Europe's largest single-site cancer centre.
This was the second year the Christie Bollywood night has been held, and it included a raffle and an auction to raise money for the charity.
Organiser Sidrah said: "From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
"Every raffle prize donated, every ticket purchased, every message of encouragement and every helping hand made a difference.
"This amount is absolutely incredible, and knowing it will help support The Christie Charity makes it even more special.
"A huge thank you to everyone involved in making Bollywood Christie's Charity Night such a success.
"I truly could not have done this without you all. What a beautiful community we have."
The event was also attended by the Stockport Mayor, and Steve Bellis, Club President of Stockport County FC hosted the auction which raised £1,100 on the night.
And it was sponsored by local Romiley businesses Cooms Chartered Accountants and Jeffersons System Ltd.
The Christie Charity treats over 60,000 patients annually and, in 2024/25, raised £20.8 million to support cancer patients and their families.
