Motorists have reported seeing smoke around junction one of the M60 following a suspected fire this afternoon.

This junction is 'the pyramid junction' with Stockport Pyramid, B&Q and Decathlon all nearby. It is believed the fire broke out around the nearby A5145.

Businesses have reportedly been evacuated; the area around the A5145 features car dealerships and other industrial units. It is unclear at this stage what may have caused a fire.
