The festive season is about to kick off in earnest this week in Reddish.

Friday 29 November will see a lights switch-on in Reddish, in Houldsworth Square.

Festivities run from 4-8pm, with the switch-on itself taking place at 6pm.

As well as the lights, there will be a wide range of stalls and live entertainment.

Expect carols, a brass band, dancers, food and drink, community stalls, and more.

According to the Reddish Events Page, local celebrities Jonny Senior and Jonny Junior (from Jonny's cafe) will be turning on the lights.
