Rail services to and from Manchester Airport are facing delays on Friday 23 October due to a points failure.

Services around the station are expected to be delayed, revised or cancelled for the rest of the day, National Rail has said.

The disruption has also affected the nearby network, with delays and cancellations expected at stations such as Gatley.

Passengers have been advised to check before they travel, particularly if they are catching a flight.

If your train is cancelled, you will likely still be able to use your ticket on alternative rail or bus services.
