Police are appealing for information after a person reported having their jewellery stolen by a passing car.

The victim had been walking towards Stockport Interchange between 5.40-45pm on Saturday 15 November when a blue vehicle, possibly a Ford, pulled up next to them and took their jewellery.

The vehicle then tried to make off up the A6 towards Hazel Grove, but instead turned towards Levenshulme due to traffic in the road.

During the incident, the victim was wearing a black top, grey tracksuit bottoms and a black rucksack with a gold chain on.

Greater Manchester Police have asked anybody with information or dashcam footage to get in touch on 101 quoting log 2535 of 15/11/2025.
