Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for whereabouts of missing person

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is searching for any information on Christopher Barlow, who went missing at 1.23am on Sunday 4 June. 

He was last seen at this time on Brabyns Brow, Marple, wearing a black t-shirt, beige shorts, and black dark trainers.  

Christopher, aged 31, is described as a white male, 5ft 9, medium build with short brown hair.  

According to a police statement: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Christopher and want to make sure he is safe and well."

He is identified as a 'high risk' missing person.  

Police were at Brabyns Brow yesterday, including a marine unit. Cordons currently block off the path at lock eight on the Peak Forest Canal, close to the scene.
