Police are appealing for information following a serious assault at a pub in Stockport town centre.

The incident took place at the White Lion Pub in Great Underbank on Saturday 21 March 2026 at 9.25pm.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) would like to speak with the man pictured as they believe he could assist in their investigation.

Anybody with information should call police on 101 quoting reference number CRI/06JJ/0005094/26.

A statement from GMP reads: "Officers would like to speak with this man as we believe he may be able to help with enquiries into a serious assault at the White Lion, Great Underbank in Stockport on Saturday 21 March 2026 at around 9.25pm."
